The Argentine and Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi is really considering  the idea of signing for Manchester City in 2018. What most people thought and still think is impossible might just happen because Manchester City, under the management of Guardiola, have been trying to lure the football maestro to City. 

Although, Messi might feel that he owes Barcelona for standing by him and leading him trough out his career, he also knows that he owes Guardiola even more because he was the one that introduced Messi to the spotlight. Anyways, let's see how it turns out.

Negotiations with Barca have been ongoing for 18 months but the deal remains unsigned.
City officials have met with Messi's representatives on several occasions — making it clear they want him.
The 30-year-old is out of contract at Barca next summer and could sign for City in January and join for free in July.
City are understood to have offered a £40million signing-on fee and a five-year deal worth over £500,000 per week.
