2017/18 NNPC/ TOTAL National merit scholarship is out!


Here it is guys; here's a chance to go through tertiary institution without the stress of thinking of tuition fees and pocket money. Also, for those of you who have been thinking of how you could be assisted through the university, here is an opportunity you cannot miss: the 2017/18 NNPC & TOTAL SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME is back!

This is a scholarship scheme sponsored and organized by TOTAL & NNPC, with the aim of assisting students financially, thereby promoting academic excellence. This scholarship is only available to 100 and 200 level students in accredited universities in Nigeria in various fields of study. Eligible candidates are expected to apply to get a chance to benefit from the scholarship scheme.

ELIGIBILITY:
To qualify for consideration, applicants MUST :
  • Be registered FULL TIME undergraduates in a recognized Nigerian University
  • Be certified 100 or 200 level students at the time of application
PLEASE NOTE: The following categories of students need not apply
  • Students with less than 200 score in UTME
  • 200 Level Students with less than 2.50 CGPA on 5-point scale, or equivalent
  • 300 level students and above
  • Current beneficiaries of similar awards from the oil and gas industry

This application opened yesterday, Tuesday, October 10, 2017 and closes on Tuesday October 31, 2017.
Selection tests will hold on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at designated Centers nationwide, which will
be communicated to shortlisted candidates only. Please note that candidates shall bear fully the cost
of transportation to/from test venue. Candidates are therefore advised to choose test centers closest to them.
