Mikel maybe considering a return back to Chelsea

Despite the fact that Mikel claims to be enjoying his time in China, it seems like his heart belongs somewhere else. Mikel, the talented Nigerian midfielder has hinted to the fact that he might return to Chelsea, and that returning to Chelsea is not an impossibility because he still has a good relationship with the club's management.

Hearing this makes me wonder; will Chelsea fans appreciate his return to the club?

Speaking shortly after helping Nigeria secure qualification to the World Cup in Russia, Mikel said he is open to the idea of returning to Chelsea in the future. “I didn’t have the chance to say goodbye on the pitch to the fans who stood by me for over 10 years, that itself is enough motivation for me to want to return “, Mikel said. “I’m very happy in China but then what I have learnt is that in football anything can happen. Chelsea is home to me due to my close relationship with the management of the team but I’m happy in China “.

This game turned out to be as expected, with everyone predicting that Man City will finally go top of the league ahead of Arsenal and continue their dominance going forward.
